About RoleGig

RoleGig is a free weekly list of jobs, one list per role: technical writing, product, QA and testing, AI and ML and developer. A new issue comes out every Monday. It is put together by Udaay Alney.

How a list is made

Each week RoleGig searches LinkedIn Jobs, Naukri, company career pages, remote job boards (Himalayas, Remotive, We Work Remotely, Jobicy, Real Work From Anywhere), the Hacker News hiring thread and LinkedIn posts in which people say they are hiring. The LinkedIn and Naukri searches cover the past seven days.

Every entry links to the original listing. The facts in an entry, such as the experience asked, pay, who can apply and the working arrangement, are copied from the listing, and a script checks each one against the listing text before the issue is published. When a listing does not state something, the entry says so.

Each list is laid out by region: remote roles open worldwide, India, the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and the Gulf, then hiring posts and freelance work. Roles outside India carry a line on what the listing says about work rights and visa sponsorship.

What is left out

A staffing firm's repost when the employer's own listing is there, roles that need a security clearance or citizenship (at most one per list, and the entry says so), unpaid or commission-only work, AI rating and labelling gigs, and anything that cannot be described from the listing text.

Hiring?

Send the role on LinkedIn or to hello@rolegig.com. It goes in if it fits the same rules as every other entry.
